Room turnover, arranged as a fixed sequence

Frieze Protocol works the stretch between check-out and check-in: linen, bathroom, surfaces, restock and a final check, taken in that order from the first room to the last.

What the service is

A turnover that follows the same five stages whichever room or team is involved, so a room reads the same to a guest arriving at nine in the morning and to one arriving at four in the afternoon.

Why an order helps

Small properties tend to drift once the number of rooms grows or a person leaves. A written sequence and one standard sheet give a new person the same starting point as the old one.

What you get afterwards

A dated record for each room, with photographs of the room and its fittings, so a manager can check the work without walking every corridor.

Key parts of the service

A fixed sequence

Linen change, bathroom reset, surface care, amenity restock and a final check, worked in order in every room.

A written standard

The final check is read off a printed sheet instead of memory, so the bar does not move between teams or days.

A dated record

Each finished room is logged with photographs and a time, so a question a week later can be answered from the record.

Final Check

How long the five stages take depends on the size and condition of the room. The standard turnover page gives the indicative range and what it assumes.

Where the service stops

A cleaning service has edges, and it is easier to read them before booking than after.

Not the lodging operator

Frieze Protocol cleans and restocks rooms. Licensing under the Hotel Business Act or the Private Lodging Business Act, check-in and guest dealings stay with the property operator.

Not a laundry

Linen is washed by the commercial laundry you use or agree with us. Frieze Protocol handles the counting and the hand-over, not the washing.

Not repairs or pest control

A worn seal or a failing filter goes into the condition note. Repair, disinfestation and hazardous-waste work are outside the service.

Three services

Ongoing turnover, the linen cycle, and a deeper session that rotates through the rooms. Prices are starting prices; the amount for your property is set in a written quote.
